While visiting from Australia on a family trip, we dropped in at Gracie Barra Lake Norman and had an amazing experience. The team was incredibly welcoming, supportive, and kind, making it easy and enjoyable to train away from home. The atmosphere was fantastic, the people were friendly, and the training was excellent. We loved our time there and would absolutely return if we’re ever back in the area.

My son has been training here and I’ve noticed such great improvements in him, both on and off the mats. The instructors are patient, encouraging, and know how to keep the kids engaged while still teaching discipline and respect. Jiu Jitsu has given my son a healthy outlet, helped build his confidence, and taught him valuable skills that go far beyond the gym. I truly believe this is a wonderful program for children and would highly recommend it to any parent looking for a positive activity for their kids.

I've been training at Gracie Barra Lake Norman for about 5 months now and I love it here. I started at 34 years old with zero martial arts experience and I was met with a friendly and inviting environment. Classes have a good mix of skill levels and everyone is really thoughtful about creating a fun place to train.
