Great Friendly atmosphere. Classes are challenging but fun. You learn a lot. Coach Tai is the one of the best. Been here for 4 years and by far my best experience training. Where you're competing mma, muay Thai , boxing, or self defense maybe just looking for a great workout. This is the hands down place.

I cannot express enough how outstanding this gym is. I am traveling in Charlotte for work and wanted a place to train while I was in town. I emailed the gym about private lessons and I received a very prompt and informative response from the owner Tai We booked a lesson and it absolutely didn’t disappoint. I walked in to an old school gym with a great vibe. Tai greeted me at the desk, he was so nice and welcoming and said. ” treat this like it’s your house.” I told him I trained at a gym where I live, what I did, etc. We started with some mitt work and he realized I was trained so he immediately brought the work to me. We worked some techniques, we did some live rounds sparring together. We trained very hard, but he went at my pace in terms of intensity. I like to train with high intensity and he kept it that way. He had me working with two of his other coaches as well and they were outstanding. Tai is an absolutely no nonsense guy that tolerates nobody being disrespectful or out of line in his gym. It’s an environment for everyone, regardless of skill level. I did 3 lessons with him and every one was better than the previous one. All the people that train there are very respectful of each other. I will be training there every time I come into town for work. I cannot recommended this gym highly enough. Give them a shot and I guarantee you will love it.

I have no clue why I haven't left a good review earlier. Because H8L deserves it! This place with coach Tai is excellent! Gym focuses on traditional Muay Thai, but coach covers boxing, kick boxing, grappling and pretty much MMA as well if needed. Do you need a challenging workout to drop a few pounds? Yes! Do you want to learn to defend yourself (the best is to avoid fight though)? Yes! Do you want to learn Muay Thai? Yes! Do you want just to be fit? Yes! Do you want to become a martial artist and compete? Yes! Do you want to have fun and have good conversations? Yes! If you have 0 experience and no gear, you just need to show up to test yourself. Workouts are very challenging, but you will see improvement within weeks. I highly recommend this gym and coach Tai with assistant coaches who are all great people.
