This gym has an incredible family atmosphere from day one. Everyone is welcoming, supportive, and genuinely wants to see each other grow on and off the mats. It’s the kind of place where beginners feel comfortable and experienced practitioners are constantly pushed to improve. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable, highly skilled, and great at breaking things down in a way that actually makes sense. You can tell they truly care about their students and the art of jiu jitsu, not just running classes.

I have been training there a little over a year, everyone is very friendly and welcoming and the instruction and guidance we get is second to none. Do not hesitate to stop in for a class or just to watch and get a feel for it, highly recommend if you’re looking to get into BJJ or any other martial arts they offer!

I’ve been attending grove city Brazilian jiu jitsu coming on four years now, and I can say it was the best decision of my life, everything about this gym is top tier, the coaches, the teammates, and friends, this gym builds warriors but it also builds friendships, Gcbjj has helped me through my mental health and everyday life. Pulling me out of the darkest time of my life, it will always be highly recommended, and at the top of my list. I won’t be leaving anytime soon or ever. 🫶🏻

Grove City BJJ is easily the best place to train in Columbus. The coaches are extremely experienced and actually care about teaching good jiu-jitsu, not just running a business. The level of competition training here is top tier and it shows in how well the team performs. The kids classes are awesome and very well run, and as a woman training I’ve always felt welcomed and respected. It’s a great environment for everyone! You can tell the owner genuinely cares about the art, the team, and doing things the right way, not just running a money-grab gym. If you’re serious about jiu-jitsu, there’s honestly nowhere else to train in Columbus.

Stopped in here last night, first time. I’m in town on business, so was looking for a drop in class. Texted the number listed and got a quick and complete response. Went in for adult NoGi and had an excellent experience. Vibe was super welcoming, people were super nice and friendly, staff incredibly accommodating, and really liked Dave and his instruction. Place is a class act, small venue, bit big quality. Huge thanks boys. 🤙🏻
