All around fantastic gym. Every instructor is super helpful and patient as you learn. The atmosphere is more laid back which helps learn in a stress free environment. It is also clean and equipment is well maintained. I would 100% recommend this gym if it's your first class or you are an experienced upper belt!

Jits56 is everything you could hope for in a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academy and then some. The quality of the instruction is outstanding. The coaches have a deep understanding of the art and a rare talent for breaking down complex techniques into practical, usable steps. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced grappler, man or woman, athletic or not, you will receive a level of personalized attention that will make a huge difference in your progress. What truly sets Jits 56 apart, though, is the camaraderie. This isn’t just a gym, it’s a community. From day one, I felt welcomed, respected, and encouraged. The atmosphere is positive, humble, and motivating. Teammates push each other to improve, but always with mutual respect and support, no big egos here. If you’re looking for a place to train hard, learn the right way, and be part of a genuinely tight-knit group, Jits56 is the real deal. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

I've been with this gym since it opened. The atmosphere is welcoming to everyone and the members are genuinely fun to talk to. We take training seriously but have a lot of fun while doing so. The staff are attentive, professional, and respectful to the classes they teach. There's a great mix of differing ages, body types, and Jiu-jitsu styles in this gym, so sparring includes a lot of variety. That keeps things fresh and exciting.

My 8 year old son has been going here for the past 3 months. The coaches are great with the kids. The classes are perfectly paced for them to get individual attention and instruction. Class size / coach to student ratio is amazing. Everyone is very friendly. You couldn’t ask for a better atmosphere for your kids to learn the sport.

I’ve been a member of Jits56 for about 10 months, and it’s been a great experience in every way. The instruction is top-notch and will meet you at your skill level to help you develop. The other members have all been awesome as well. They range from serious competitors to new entrants, and regardless of skill level, there are no egos whatsoever and everyone is positive and supportive. All of this makes for a vibe that is somehow laid back but focused and productive all at the same time. There are tough rolls, but there are some laughs, too, making sessions both fun and challenging. I would say if you are looking for quality jiu jitsu instruction amongst quality people in a supportive environment, Jits56 is the place for you.
