J.Kim Martial Arts

Master Kim is fantastic with young children and getting them engaged and practicing! Update: it's now been almost 2 years of being a member and my review has not changed. J. Kim is great.

We would highly recommend J. Kim Martial Arts!! My children have gained confidence in themselves! He not only teaches them but encourages and shows all the children love. They have learned to take pride in what they have and are learning! (Keeping their uniforms clean as well as themselfs) We are more than pleased with everything! Thank You to Master Kim and all the Masters that help teach!!

My son and I love the Martial Arts! I enrolled Kevin in Oct 2017, and it was the best thing that I'm glad that we did. He Loves it, and never complains about going to learn or go class! Scents I used to be in the Martial Arts when I was younger,and its been about 10 yrs! Master Jino Kim and his Instructors are great with the students, and it even brought me back to learn again and to be part of my son together. I never thought I would ever do Martial Arts again until I came here to see the great atmosphere that he teaches. We appreciate Master Kim's time and experience that he give's us!

My daughter joined as a Little Dragon in 2022 when she just turned 5 and graduated as child yellow belt when we had to move out of Columbus. Master Kim and his faculty were extremely thorough with the techniques. Master Kim was very friendly and garnered a lot of enthusiasm among the young kids. We would always be grateful to Master Kim to help instill lot of self confidence and discipline in our daughter.

I can't say enough great things about this school. Grandmaster Kim and all of his instructors are amazing! I signed my 7 year old granddaughter up because she is very shy and gets bullied in school. I thought this would help with her self confidence and ability to stand up for herself. All I can say is WOW! She's only been going for about 4 months, but she has already received her yellow belt and won a first place medal in the recent tournament for sparring. Her confidence is really growing! They really work on respect as well. Not just at the gym, but at home too. It's funny when she is being less than obedient, I just tell her that I will tell Grandmaster Kim on her and she immediately does what I ask. She has such admiration and respect for him that she doesn't want him to be disappointed in her! So, long story short...EXCELLENT SCHOOL!!
