Gorilla Judo and BJJ Club

Sensei Mike has given his time, effort, and funds to the youth of the community for years. He’s provided a safe space for them to learn and grow. He has dedicated his life to service and continues to train and guide those around him. On top of the all of those things, his technique and knowledge of multiple martial arts creates a challenging curriculum for students, both young and adult. The culture at the dojo is amazing. I’ve felt encouraged and challenged every time I’ve stepped on the mats.

My kids are out of state for the summer but this place is like home to them when they come back. The kids and adults are amazing at this place. My kids had their first tournament early this month and they won 2nd place!!!!!

I really enjoyed training at this gym. Coach Mike has a TON of experience in many different styles. Very humble man; teaches a good rounded curriculum. He encourages students to push themselves but also emphasizes training safe and smart. The gym dues are very reasonable. Only reason I stopped going was because it was an hours drive from home. I hope to return in the future!

This is THE dojo to join to learn effective and efficient old-school grappling. Sensei Mike has the pedigree and experience, and can show you he really knows grappling arts through and through. LEO/First Responder/Security should take advantage of his Gunji Taiho Jitsu curriculum! Whether you work a 9-5, are a stay at home parent, or anything in between, come train with him. And bring the family, you can’t beat his rates and his kids class is a great environment for littles.

Since my girls started going here honestly about a week or so I can already see my oldest daughters confidence growing. Its something both my my girls are looking forward to doing. They are very patient with them and everyone here even the other students are so respectful and helpful.
