I have been practicing here for two years as of writing this, I have seen much growth in myself (physically and mentally) and in my fellow students. The sensei are absolutely amazing teachers and have absolutely succeeded in passing down the over 400 year old art of kendo. The community in kendo; not just in our dojo but in all other kendo dojo from all around the country who we occasionally do events and practices with, are a passionate and dedicated community. Everyone wants to grow and help you grow too. I have only ever had positive experiences with kendo practices, test, events etc. If you are interested in learning this beautiful and historic art of Japanese swordsmanship, I could not recommend this dojo more. I truly am thankful, kendo has grown to mean a lot to me and my daily life.

Furukawa Sensei at ShinSoFuKan is the real deal. What this dojo teaches is rooted in fundamentals, but still accessible enough for beginners of all ages. The facility is great and the location makes it easy to get to from all parts of town. If you're interested in kendo, you should definitely check it out.
