We discovered this place when they moved in across the way. Now my son, daughter and partner goes to it. It’s become a whole family affair. Tyler is so awesome and positive it makes me want to join too. It’s really been a great channel for my kids to grow their confidence and they are coming home teaching me all their moves!

This is a phenomenal place to train Jiu Jitsu, whether you’re just beginning or a seasoned veteran of the game. The owner and the coaches are some of the best in the state. With this, Prodigy will be moving into a new space starting Jan. 2026 and it’s only getting better. If you’re on the wire about whether or not to start BJJ, do it! You won’t regret it, especially at a place like Prodigy.

I can’t say enough good things about Professor Tyler. He’s truly a man of the people. From the moment you step on the mat, he makes you feel like part of the family. Whether you’re brand new or have years of experience, he takes the time to personally instruct, answer questions, and make sure you understand the details behind every movement. His knowledge of jiu-jitsu is incredible, but what really sets him apart is how he teaches it. He breaks things down in a way that’s practical, patient, and encouraging. You never feel overlooked. He genuinely cares about each student’s growth, both on and off the mat. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll be challenged, supported, and welcomed from day one, this is it. Training under him has been an absolute privilege.

I started this year having very limited grappling experience. I had no real idea but a good friend talked me into it. BJJ is awesome but Prodigy makes it a community. I have people I look forward to seeing, I’ve been helped with injury recovery, my kids have started and it’s just been a super positive experience for me. Super welcoming! I have felt supported the entire time, encouraged and I’ve learned a ton. I highly recommend giving it a shot, you will be blown away by how great all the people are.
