Finding Roots Muay Thai has been an absolute blessing to my family and I. Not only are the coaches amazing with kids but also they work very well with adults and make everything we learn very understandable. The community and culture in this building are unbeatable, I look forward to coming in every single day!!!

I thought it sounded crazy to give the kids some gloves and let them hit each other. Boy was I wrong. My son has been doing Muay Thai for a few months now. He loves it! They learn respect, coordination, following instructions, There is serious time but they also play games. The coaches at Roots are AMAZING! They always take the time to break down the instructions and show my son exactly what to do if he is struggling. His confidence has soared. We have done a ton of different activities and I am so impressed how much they get to know your child. The kids are at all different levels and the coaches work with them at their level. I highly recommend giving it a try.

Coach Kim and Coach Bronson go above and beyond. They are hands-on, energetic, and incredibly engaging with the kids, making every practice something our children look forward to. Just as important, they are very parent-friendly, open, kind, and always willing to communicate. It’s clear they care deeply about creating a positive experience for the entire family.

I tried the women’s self-defense class back in October 2025 and within the first 10 minutes I knew Roots was it. The owners and instructors are warm and welcoming. I immediately got the sense that it would be a great place for me to be a part of a community. My next favorite thing about Roots is the level of instruction I get during each class. I’m usually in my head second-guessing myself, but the coaches take the time to work with me and encourage me. They really know their stuff and maintain high-level feedback so that I can continue to advance in my skills. They offer a variety of class times, which is helpful for my busy schedule. I have 2 children that started classes in January. Both kids adore their instructors and feel like they take time to really understand them. I honestly cannot say enough amazing things about Roots Muay Thai!!
