Coach Tyler is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and is an excellent BJJ instructor. I’m from Los Angeles and I have been to countless gyms, so I can genuinely say that the classes here are top notch. My rowdy 6 year old nephew also trains here and he is already exhibiting better behavior at home. Unlike other BJJ kid’s program in the local area, Tyler teaches the children high quality BJJ and discipline, while also keeping the kids entertained and engaged. I highly recommend the gym for both adult and children. It’s the perfect gym for those looking to start jiu jitsu or experienced practitioners looking to learn more advance techniques. The environment is family friendly with a great deal of mat space.

I was able to drop in for an open mat with Tyler and crew. Everyone was very friendly and the range of belt levels was great. I wanted to check it out for my nieces. After talking and training with Tyler and many of the students I had no hesitation recommending them to my sister for the kids. Lots of green flags walking in the door, like kids having a separate mat space and having fun running around and multiple women at the open mat. I was told that they are in the process of moving to a larger space which tells me that they are growing and generally gyms only grow when the students like and coaches and are finding the success they want in the gym, which was another good sign. I will be dropping in with them again next time I am in town.
