reviewsWhat Members Say
Members report dramatically different experiences following the ownership change and renovations. Some praise the modernized facility, upgraded equipment, and management's investment in creating a high-quality environment, describing it as one of the best gyms around. Others express frustration with removed amenities like the pool, hot tub, and sauna, reduced weekend hours, equipment maintenance issues, and increased membership fees that don't match the current value. Several long-term members have left for other gyms, citing broken promises about renovations and a decline in the previously bustling community atmosphere.

This gym feels brand new after the recent renovations, and the upgrades are seriously impressive. The new management has clearly put a lot of thought into the improvements—from the modernized equipment to awesome new amenities like the golf simulator and expanded recovery options. Everything feels cleaner, more organized, and more intentional than before. You can tell the new team is invested in creating a high-quality experience, and it really shows. Easily one of the best gyms around now!

**Edited from initial 1 star-- Although the incident was frustrating, it is important how a business/owner responds. It was a quick response, addressed the situation, and took accountability. See below.** The basketball gym was booked by a buddy for 7-830 am on a Saturday. The doors were not opened until 745. There were other groups that had rented courts from the number of cars in the parking lot. Several people ended up leaving after waiting 15-20 minutes though. This is ridiculous for a club that is supposed to be high end. Fees were higher than other gyms- recommend going to the Hive instead. Better pricing and service but unfortunately was booked out.

I’m not really sure what happened to this gym. I know there’s been a new owner. I know they’ve redesigned the interior. I know they’ve repainted like 20 times. It’s a ghost town. Everyone left for Crunch. What used to be a bustling gym with HIIT and cycling classes is now a semi-lit gym that feels like it has maybe 50 total members. Left are the promises of locker room renovations and all-inclusive fitness classes. Gone is the pool, hot tub, and sauna. Gone are the basketball games and outdoor volleyball. For some reason the prices kept going up. I was a member for 8 years and I’m finally moving on, but I’ll miss the old OAC and Lighthouse.

Member for ~2 years. The price recently increased to $80/month, but the overall value has gone down with the ownership change. • Weekend hours reduced • I was told the sauna is being moved to a $20/month “recovery” add-on, and the locker room with it has been under construction for about a month • The men’s locker-room hot tub has been out of service for over a year • The pool was removed (the area is being repurposed for future add-ons) • Increasing amount of broken or out-of-service equipment. Many items just need basic maintenance, but sit unavailable for weeks or months I’d really like to see the focus return to core amenities and maintenance. I ended up canceling because I couldn’t justify paying more while getting less than what most gyms include in a standard membership.

This place sucks now. TB Group is a joke. Took away key features at the facility and dramatically raised membership fees. I sent in a month notice of my cancellation and was still charged the following month after my membership had ended. Went up to the desk and the kid at the counter had no idea what to do. I was told I would eventually be refunded for my overcharge and I never was. I miss when this was The Lighthouse.
