Best judo training environment I’ve experienced. Structured, intense comp nights with high-level randori, and a true team culture. Everyone encourages each other and pushes together. Coach Jacob leads with clarity and accountability, holds a high standard, and the room delivers: welcoming people, elite partners, and real improvement. You can tell the program is built on respect, effort, and teamwork, and it’s a great environment for anyone who wants to learn judo the right way, from kids to serious competitors.

I've known several of the athletes here for a couple of decades now. I recently moved to Oklahoma a d Sensei Pat welcomed me wit opened arms. He has been amazing for my two foster children and is one of the best coached in the country. I highly recommend training here for all ages.

I’d give more than 5 stars but that’s all they allow. Great place for kids and adults to learn Judo and be a part of a family. As a parent, that isn’t on the mat, I appreciate that I’m included with the family part of that place. Great people.

Out of all martial arts and especially judo places I visited in the USA (states of GA, SC, CT and OK), Japan (Aichi, Nagoya) and Russia (Moscow) this is the best in training approaches, building competitive spirit and learning the most advanced techniques. USA Stars judokas go to tournaments to beat the dust off tatamis with other judo clubs guys. It is incredible to see the difference in skills taught by Pat Burris and what other judo club sensejs teach. Highly recommend USA Stars to anyone, any age, any skill level. Sensej Burris sees where you are and how to get you to where you need to be right away. He takes an individual approach to training you on whole new level. Kids, tennagers and adults all love his style, and let me tell you he is not an "easy going" guy. He is very tough. You learn it on your first day and you learn to respect him and his judo skills. You will grow quickly in your confidence, techniques and learn to be a winner.
