I love love LOVE VASA. I love all the amenities available for the price point. Zelene is my favorite trainer! Her Zumba class was the first Zumba class I ever tried and I’m hooked. No other Zumba classes compare now that I’ve experienced hers! I make a point to fit her classes in my schedule. HOWEVER. I was pretty bummed to see the fitness cinema go. As a busty woman, I reaaaally appreciated the safety and comfort of being able to do HIIT cardio in a dimly lit room, where I was confident I wouldn’t be ogled. And to realize it was removed just to install Studio Flow, where they now charge for yoga and took yoga away from the Basic level membership.. yikes, dude. Taking away yoga at the Basic level AND remove the fitness cinema?? I was just starting to enjoy yoga and don’t have the means to upgrade right now. All that aside.. the rest of the enjoyable amenities remain. The trainers are friendly and knowledgeable. I love the classes, love the array of machines and weights, love all the space/choices to workout. Well worth a very affordable price.

The massage chairs are the best. The pool is always nice and clean, the exercise classes are fun, and it has plenty of options for weight training and cardio. However, they have found out away to drain your bank account with all kinds of dumb charges, no grace period if you are late, and the late charge is too much and they do not honor the cancelation for free after 6 months. I was at planet fitness for 2+ years before I came here and I can say planet fitness is like dealing with honest business, they don't gouge you for every penny they can take you for. So beware of those hidden fees for canceling classes, or for weighing in with the inbody app, and the outrages late fees without any grace period.

I’ve been working out here for over a year now, the staff is great ! Allantis and Shelby are the staff im talking about . I always workout at 430am. Today I was there at the same time and the doors where locked. Someone was irresponsible and didn’t open! Thankfully allantis showed up so fast.!! Thank you allantis for coming in on your day off to open the gym for the rest of the people there! Also I always see a lot of “ trainers” with 6-7 other people there . When my understanding is you cannot have a trainer there unless they work there !

I was given a 3-day trial pass, but when I came in to use it, the experience was very disappointing. The manager asked about my fitness goals, and I explained that I was only in the area for two days and wanted to try the gym since a new vasa has opened up in my region. Instead of explaining anything or asking if I was okay with it, he abruptly walked to another register and said it would be $15, completely ignoring the trial pass. He then asked how I would like to pay. I said I could use Apple Pay, but he told me he needed the physical card and asked for all 16 digits, the expiration date, and the CVV. I explained that I’m not comfortable giving out full card details like that to a random person and that if there’s a payment processor, Apple Pay should be used instead. In this day and age, it’s surprising for a gym or any business not to support secure tap-to-pay options. His tone was condescending, and he acted as if he owned the place rather than someone whose role is to welcome potential members. This kind of attitude and customer service is not what I expect from a manager. A trial visit should feel inviting, not uncomfortable or dismissive. NEVER GOING TO THIS LOCATION EVER AGAIN AND NEW MEMBERS SHOULD ALSO AVOID THIS LOCATION.
