Sifu Ray has a great understanding of the subtleties of Wing Chun and adapts to a variety of learning styles. Best thing about the school is that it feels like a family of martial arts lovers, not a McDojo mining its students for money.

I have only practiced here for a month but I have already fallen in love with this place. All the instructors are super nice and awesome. The teaching methodology is very modern and accessible. The instructors are very good at explaining details of each action and helping me figure out what I do right/wrong, they always let everyone feel the differences between a wrong form and the right form to understand and appreciate the logic behind Leung Sheung Wing Chun, and they patiently and enthusiastically answer any questions we have. All the students here are warm and friendly. No matter which level you are at, this is the place to be if you want to learn some awesome martial arts in an awesome community where you can.

As someone who’s been involved in martial arts throughout my entire life, this is the place you want to be! Wing Chun is a beautiful art and this isn’t just a class that wants to give you a workout and then send you home, they actually take the time to help you understand the fundamentals and are very through. If you're looking for an approachable, knowledgeable and down-to-earth group of people to introduce you to and train Wing Chun then this is the place. I immediately felt like I was amongst friends my first time there and have really enjoyed each class since; always learning something new about the martial art and my own strengths/weaknesses. + Parking On-Site (at least on Sundays and after certain hours) + Affordable compared to other martial art gyms + Equipped with Wooden Dummies, Kettlebells, etc. + Biggest plus is the people -- both instructors and students alike

Back in 2016 I was looking for a martial arts class for myself and my twin boys. I looked for Wing Chun since we were fans of the IP Man movie and found Lightning Hand Academy. I compared it with other styles and classes that were offered in the area and found it to be, by far the best price and value. After meeting with Sifu Ray I signed us up. We were welcomed in with open arms and it didn't take long for us to become part of this community. That is what I find so amazing about this community that Ray has built. Not only is the teaching excellent and the Wing Chun applicable to many aspects in life, but it is also the people that make this place so special.
