This park is wonderful! Driving past, I got an overwhelming smell of roses and had to pull over to discover, what turned out to be, the most beautiful idyll. Of all the rose gardens in Portland, this is the best! You can feel the love volunteers and donators have for this place, and the history of the park is fascinating; excellent educational signage all the way round, with flat, even pathways to for ADA, kids etc. to enjoy. Plus, the pollinator garden was in full bloom and (aside from the huge rose garden) was a sight to behold in itself! I felt like Alice in Wonderland, as I wondered round, and made me so happy to take 30 minutes for myself. There's also the community center (Portland's first ever), providing a swimming pool, and various classes. Go inside and see the historic wall mural, plus great photo history of the park.

A wonder full well maintained park and over 105 years old it smells amazing and when I went there was a hola hooping going on and my family loves to play in the splash fountain the only thing was the water was not clean but overall a good park as you can see from the photos there was also not much shade beside a few trees that were small there was a wide verity of roses there was pink red and it was helpful to see sighs to tell us what type of rose it was a fun place to hang out with me family and cousins. Thank you to the volunteers

Surprisingly beautiful park. When the gardens are in bloom, they are more beautiful than the Portland's Rose Test Gardens in my opinion. Also a nice pool and a great park sandwiched in between.

Love this place. Sit and relax as you watch dogs playing catch, take pictures in the rose Garden during the first blooms of spring, go swimming during the summer and enjoy the popcorn and a frosty before or after you swim. Whatever your desire, I'm sure you'll enjoy this place of peace and tranquility.
