I've been training at Ringcraft for about three years and there are a lot of things I could say - but in the interest of keeping this brief, I have a list: 1) If you are looking to begin some sort of "martial arts journey" - this is the place for you. 2) If you are an experienced practitioner who wants to train somewhere with a high skill ceiling and good technique - this is the place for you. 3) The community at Ringcraft is second to none. I went from having almost no friends to now having a lot of really amazing friends and acquaintances. The space is very friendly and inclusive - regardless of your skill level. 4) The coaching staff rules. They are incredibly patient and fair. And are always open to answering questions you might have. All in all - Ringcraft is the real deal. If you put in the work and give it a fair shot, you'll be rewarded with an awesome community and a fun skill. All without the annoying woes/worries that might come with a typical gym.

The results of your training at Ringcraft extend far beyond the mat. My training of Muay Thai from a talented, and experienced instructor such as Greg, as well as the junior instructors, has allowed me to develop a character of leadership that is utilized at home with my children, work and when out in the greater community. In addition, Ringcraft offers a simplified curriculum from a very complex tradition and martial art. The beginner through intermediate classes are accessible to any level practitioner. There are opportunities to apply your training and drilling in weekly sparring, exhibition matches, all the way through to amateur competition if that is something you desire and are committed to training. I enjoy the camaraderie of this diverse community and I’m grateful to be part of it. Moreover, I believe this place is an excellent choice for young people who are in high school and looking for something to do, learn, or simply cross train while playing another extracurricular sport. I highly recommend that you stop in and give Ringcraft a trial class, you will not be disappointed! Thank you Greg and Ringcraft family!

Been training at RingCraft Muay Thai for 3.5 years, and it's been an amazing journey. Starting as a beginner, I've had the privilege of growing into a coach and fighter under the expert guidance of Head Coach Greg. Greg's wealth of knowledge, dedication, and passion for Muay Thai is unmatched. He takes the time to develop each individual, ensuring that everyone, from beginners to advanced fighters, gets the attention and instruction they need to succeed. The environment at RingCraft is like no other-a perfect blend of hard work, respect, and a strong sense of community. The gym feels like family, and I’m proud to be part of the coaching staff and representing this incredible place. Whether you're training for fitness, learning new techniques, or competing, Greg and the team at RingCraft will push you to be your best. Without him I would have never found my passion! I can't recommend this gym enough!

Head Coach Greg and his team of instructors are top tier in the art of teaching the art of eight limbs. I trained here for a year, and I learned so much beyond just combos. From even the minute details of body mechanics of the how to best place your foot to how to set up a guard to stop flinching, the coaches here take an interest in the students and give each an unique focus that helps their own individual style of Muay Thai. Sparring partners are humble and are happy to adjust pace according to feedback. And there are occasional seminars from world champion fighters!

I started training at Ringcraft in 2024 after relocating to Portland from Texas. After training at various gyms over the years, Ringcraft has been my absolute favorite. Despite being new to the city, I was immediately welcomed as part of the team, and some of the people I’ve met here have become lifelong friends. What stands out about Ringcraft is the sense of community and inclusivity. The gym has a warm, welcoming environment centered around support and hard work. Coach Greg is super supportive and approachable, and I love the unique style he brings to Muay Thai. I appreciate the emphasis on technique and like that there’s a structured, focused curriculum. I had so much fun training here 🫶
