Sunrise Taekwondo Academy

Cannot recommend Sunrise Taekwondo enough. Such kind, patient, wonderful instructors and a great environment. Our 6 year old has been enrolled at this location for almost a year and it has been the best experience and his confidence and focus has grown tenfold. Highly recommend 💞

Classes here have been fun, organized and inspiring. My daughter quickly got on board with the great teaching, supportive environment and the encouragement to have faith in yourself and succeed. I love how they have the students really cheer each other on. I watched an older student do his testing and try over and over to break a pretty thick board. He simply would not give up on himself and with patience and encouragement, he DID break his board. I love that there is a woman teacher as well as a lot of diversity in the students. My daughter has gotten physically stronger, and is drawn in by the balance of fun and challenges. Highly recommend.

Instructor Delany and Master Hong are wonderful. Kids learn about respect, self-discipline, and gain confidence here. Instructor is encouraging, positive, and pushes kids to stay focused and be respectful, and does a great job keeping kids engaged. I like the values kids learn here. You can see there is a lot of passion and care put into this place. I did think it was too pricey initially, but we were able to work something out with going just 2-days a week. I wish testing didn't cost in addition, but I hear that is pretty typical for most TKD. Other than that, I recommend Sunrise TKD; my child doesn't want to leave here, she loves it.

My son has been with Sunrise for a couple years now and we couldn't be happier. The instructors and masters are dedicated, kind, and wonderful with kids.

The instructors and the facility are great. She enjoyed the classes very much. My big problem was the cost. Paid and paid for classes, uniforms . Almost $600, then came the testing and the need for more money. No money, no testing. No one reminded us of it until 10 minutes before. She was devastated she could not get her belt. Be sure you know every word of that contract, every word. I wish I had. She enjoyed the classes.
