!!!! VERY QUEER FRIENDLY !!!!! Could not recommend a gym more than this one! Everyone is so kind , the gym is clean, and the environment is so welcoming. Sean (the owner) is always around and Amber (personal trainer) writes great workouts on the white board. I always leave here feeling happier than when I came in!

I first started going to UAC at the end of 2020-early 2021 when they were just starting up. It was such a cool place & the atmosphere was friendly, supportive, and inclusive. I had a personal injury unrelated to the gym that caused me to put a pause on my membership, and the cancellation process was quite smooth and aligned with my expectations. I also waited a little longer to cancel and paid for several months I didn’t use, because I was hoping to be able to come back sooner, but life had other plans for me & I didn’t have any qualms about supporting this awesome local gym. I’ve also personally met the owner and he’s one of the sweetest and most authentic people I’ve had the pleasure to encounter, (especially for a gym environment, since I’ve felt uncomfortable and out of place at gyms in the past). Fast forward to now, and I’m in a much better place physically, so of course I was stoked to be able to return to UAC! I was so excited to see how much they have expanded & even opened up a second location! I can’t think of a better deserving person to have such success. I’ve started working with one of their personal trainers and I’ve noticed that they have a very diverse and Queer collection of employees on their books, which is always a great sign in my opinion. I was also pretty impressed to see they have a very neurodivergent friendly cardio room in their new space that doesn’t have super bright overhead lights! I think I’ll be spending a lot of time there, for sure. So happy to be back!

I needed to find a gym since moving here, and inquired about United Athletic Club via email. Venus gave me information and I decided to do a walk in tour myself. Fast forward a month ahead and I can say this is one of the best gyms I've been a member of. The staff is friendly and the gym equipment is solid. Dont feel intimidated if you want to join the gym as UAC does a great job of making everyone feel welcome! Thank you for the great service!

I've been going to this gym for about a year now, and I love it. It's SO CLEAN! I primarily use free weights, and it's rare that the equipment I want to use isn't available. I worked with the owner Sean years ago, and he was an amazing person to work with. It's clear he truly cares about the gym, its members, and the community. My only complaint is how hot it got in there during the hot summer days, but I dealt with it by coming in earlier in the morning. Overall, this is the best gym I've ever been to, and I've been to many!

This gym has such a casual, welcoming atmosphere. The staff is friendly, the equipment is always in good shape, and it’s an easy place to feel comfortable working out. It’s definitely a 5-star spot for me! The only thing that could make it even better would be opening a little earlier on weekends — that would be perfect.
