Action Karate Fairmount

Our son has been a member of the Ninja Sharks program at Action Karate Fairmount since November 2025, and this past weekend, we hosted his 4th birthday party there. It was truly an amazing and memorable experience. The lead instructor, along with three other instructors, made the celebration fun, engaging, and well-organized for our son and all of his friends. Parents were able to sit back, enjoy food and drinks, and watch as the kids participated in different structured and exciting activities. The party included warm-ups, practice lessons, obstacle courses, a board-breaking session, and of course our son’s favorite part of the day—the samurai sword cake-cutting ceremony. The instructors were so helpful throughout the entire event. They helped with setup and cleanup and checked in with us regularly to make sure everything was going smoothly. They were so patient and engaging with all of the kids, and they truly made our son feel special and celebrated. Our son absolutely loves his karate classes and his instructors, and it meant so much to him to share that experience with his friends on his birthday. We are incredibly appreciative of the team at Action Karate Fairmount and highly recommend them for both classes and birthday celebrations.

We absolutely love this karate school! The staff is truly wonderful and puts so much care and effort into making sure every child learns not just karate, but important life skills as well. They focus on building self-confidence, self-control, and discipline, all while making classes fun and engaging for the kids. What really stands out is how they teach lessons that can be used in everyday life and at home, not just in class. It’s amazing to see how much my niece and nephew are learning and growing through this program. They’re still on their journey, but I’m so incredibly proud of them and grateful to the instructors for creating such a positive, supportive environment. Highly recommend to any family looking for a place that truly invests in their children!

Action Karate is AMAZING!!! The instructors are so patient, kind, and knowledgeable. My kids love going to class and have learned so much more than just karate - they've gained confidence, discipline, and self-respect. The facility is clean and well-organized, and the atmosphere is always positive and supportive. We've been going for a few months now, and can't recommend Action Karate enough! 5 stars isn't enough - we'd give them 10 stars if we could!!!

We have been part of the Action Karate Fairmount dojo for years and our experience has been phenomenal. The personal growth we have seen in our son has been game changing. It's not just the gains in physical strength (which have been really fun to see!) but more importantly the growth in mental fortitude, resilience, communication skills, goal-setting and willingness to work through challenges that has impressed me the most. Additionally the community has continued to grow and expand throughout our time (new students, new instructors, new community partners & events) and the studio space has continued to evolve and improve. Action Karate Fairmount is a welcoming, encouraging and empowering space and we are so grateful for the impact that the dojo and all the instructors have had on our family.

We absolutely love Action Karate! Since enrolling my child, I’ve seen such a positive transformation. Action Karate has helped build confidence, discipline, and focus in ways I didn’t expect. My child has learned respect, self-control, and perseverance, and those lessons show up not only in class but at home and in everyday life. The instructors are encouraging, patient, and truly care about each child’s growth. They motivate the kids to do their best while making learning fun and empowering. My child looks forward to every class and feels proud of their accomplishments. Action Karate has been more than just martial arts for our family—it’s been a positive, life-changing experience. I’m so grateful for the impact it has had on my child, and I highly recommend it to any parent looking to help their child grow physically, mentally, and emotionally.
