Don’t get me started on how great this gym is. I had the privilege to do the 14 day trial here in the summer and coach Jake is so nice that he let me stay an extra 2-3 weeks after I injured my shoulder which he didn’t have to do. I never had the money to come back after but coach Jake just gave me the opportunity to be a photographer/videographer in exchange to train. I really enjoy taking photos and editing for them. All around nice facility. Amazing people training there. All the coaches are dope. I would suggest stopping by to check it out anytime. Very amazing if you’re trying to learn any Martial art. There the reason I’m gonna be wrestling this year for my senior year. Love broadstreet kickboxing ❤️🥊🙏🏾

This gym is near me and I have been training there since March of 2025. It is a really cool environment for people of all skill levels and has helped me grow my confidence and develop my kickboxing and jiu jitsu. Amazing coaches there shoutout to coach John, Jake, and Ben. Can’t recommend it highly enough. They will look out for you and figure out a way to help you improve as a martial artist and a person.

Broadstreet Kickboxing has been a great experience for me. The facility has a great aesthetic and a warm welcoming atmosphere. There are multiple heavy bags, good condition mats (this matters when you spend alot of time rolling on them) and plenty of kickshields and thai pads for use in class. Class sizes are perfect, with a diverse mix of members of all heights, weights, genders and skill levels, which makes finding a partner easy. They offer Brazillian Jiujitsu in the gi, so you can earn those stripes and belts in tradition, and also no gi, so you can work the endless art of submission grappling. Ive attended Muay thai classes that have not shied away from clinchwork and knees and also incorporate all aspects of the kickboxing skillset. Classes were well structured and instructed and also incorporated conditioning exercises as well sparing. This is invaluable, and in my opinion is what seperates true martial art training from cardio kickboxing classes. The students are friendly and welcoming, happy to get solid training in without trying to take your head off. That to me creates a great learning environment, and speaks of quality training and leadership by the instructors. Thats not so easy to find. Ive done personal training sessions with the head Coach Jake, and he has a brilliant mind for training martial arts. Hes able to instantly recognize your strengths and weaknesses and cater the training to push you to keep developing. After doing classes in both grappling and striking with the instructors at Broadstreet Kickboxing i am very pleased with the training ive received, and look forward to continuing my Journey with this solid crew.

This review is specifically about the customer service I received. Jake or whoever I was messaging about new member orientation, came off passive aggressive and just gave miserable energy overall. I asked about Muay Thai classes and whether heavy bag work was included. The moment I asked, his tone shifted and the responses got passive aggressive fast. I followed up asking if it was listed under “boxing”, since the website clearly says heavy bag is available, and he kept that same negative tone despite me being polite. First impressions really matter for me and pretty much everyone. A simple, kind explanation or even a “we don’t offer those classes anymore” would’ve been enough. Instead, I got this weird attitude like I was supposed to magically know, even though the website is misleading. Edit: Heavy bag was not a requirement for me but the screenshot clearly says “heavy bag work”. If it was not provided as a class, then a polite response/explanation would’ve sufficed, not passive aggressive attitude. The explanation he gave in the reply was not AT ALL the vibe he gave when messaging me. Even now, he’s saying I was aggressive when my response was, “Oh ok. Well y’all either need to stop misleading or correct the outdated website and customer service! 😊 have a good one!” AFTER I was met with passive aggressiveness. There are better boxing gyms out here. This attitude is ridiculous.
