I've trained at tons of BJJ gyms and Movement Art ranks amongst the top without a doubt. Nick and Danny have created an environment that both welcomes those who have never trained before and caters to some of the high level people in the sport. Their instructors are all super knowledgeable and able to effectively communicate to the students. I'd definitely recommend checking out a class if you're in the area.

This place rocks! Seriously. I started a little over four months ago and in that short time, not only have I learned a whole lot, the instructors here have really lit a fire under me. I honestly can’t wait to go to class every time. Whenever I have enough time in my schedule, I am sure to be there every chance I get. The instructors explore every technical aspect of BJJ while making it easy to understand. They’re super supportive too. They are teaching some really high-level stuff. While that means there are some very high-level people training here, they absolutely make space for those of us just starting out. All the higher belt people I’ve sparred with have had great attitudes and are willing to teach. No overblown egos here. The facility is amazing too! There’s a wonderful gym in the back with facilities like a sauna to use. And anyone who has done combat sports before knows the importance of cleanliness. This place is constantly being cleaned and there’s a huge emphasis on the students following hygiene protocols. For anyone thinking about it, it doesn’t matter if you are a high-level competitor or just starting out. This place is really cool and laid-back yet, still manages to teach high-level BJJ.

Movement Art is an excellent place to train. It has a friendly and professional atmosphere with top-notch instruction from Nick and Danny. The facility is also impeccably clean and well-kept. Additionally, it offers many amenities, such as a gym and sauna, making it convenient to meet your fitness goals. Although I only visited for the day, I really enjoyed the training. I wish I lived closer so I could train here full-time.

My daughter just started at Movement Arts Jiu Jitsu, and to say that I’m impressed is an understatement. With my background in fitness, karate, and rehabilitation, I have a strong understanding of quality instruction, and this program truly stands out. The teaching is exceptional—clear, motivating, and very well structured. Danny creates a positive, engaging environment where kids feel confident and excited to learn. The facility itself is beautiful and very welcoming. Most importantly, my daughter absolutely loves it. We were so impressed that we joined immediately. Highly recommend.

I’m currently a 12 year black belt also serving active duty in the United States Army. That being said, I’ve been a member of five different gyms throughout my career. I thought I knew Jiu Jitsu until I walked into those doors. Movement Art has by far been the best gym I’ve ever trained at. Mac and Danny are two of the very best instructors I’ve ever trained under. Very detailed in their instructions and techniques, ferocious competitors, but also maintain a warm and family environment and culture. If it wasn’t for the army, I would’ve stayed in Pennsylvania just to continue training under Nick and Danny.
