If you are looking for great gym with top level instructors and great training partners check out Onyx Combat Sports. My son and I have been training here since June and we absolutely love this place. We focus on BJJ but also enjoy the Muay Thai classes. Zack, Kevin and Alex are great BJJ teachers and Kalle and Rick give excellent instruction for Muay Thiai. My daughter will be starting here soon. Very happy we found Onyx.

I was a member of Onyx for a couple of months before moving from the area, with no prior experience. The coaches as well as other people in the gym were nothing but welcoming. I’ve seen several “newer” people walk in and every time Zach or a different coach will walk to the door and shake their hand. I think that says a lot about the people there. Much love for the Onyx team, hopefully I’ll be able to go back soon!

I really enjoy learning about B.J.J. and Muay Thai at onyx gym. I have been going there for a couple of years practicing Muay Thai and I just started with B.J.J. Zach is not only a great instructor but a really great person as well. He is very patience and professional when it comes to teaching new students. It is a very welcoming atmosphere. All of his other instructors are also just as good as well. I am so glad that I incorporated these new workouts into my daily routine. Shout out to Rick (instructor) and the more experienced (black, brown and purple) students there as well, they are all very knowledgeable and are great teachers as well. I highly recommend trying this gym out if you want to take your workouts to another level.

I've been training at Onyx BJJ & Muay Thai for a while now, and I can confidently say it's one of the best gyms I've ever been a part of. Zach and Kevin are incredibly knowledgeable and up to date with the latest trends in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which really shows in the way they structure and instruct their classes. Their ability to break down techniques and explain the "why" behind each move makes learning both effective and enjoyable. As a woman, I’ve always felt completely comfortable and respected in every class. The atmosphere is welcoming, and they’re very accommodating to different experience levels and needs. It's clear that creating a safe and inclusive environment is a priority here. The gym itself is always clean and well-maintained—the mats are cleaned regularly, which is something I deeply appreciate. Cleanliness, especially in a combat sport gym, is a huge deal and they take it seriously. Whether you're a beginner or more advanced, Onyx is an amazing place to train. Highly recommend!
