I've had such a great experience at Royal Striking. Training with Aaron has truly been life-changing for me. Not only am I losing weight, but it’s also been amazing for my mental health. What really sets the culture of the gym apart is the coaching staff led by Aaron—they are expertly knowledgeable in all things striking and incredibly generous with their time. You can tell Aaron genuinely cares about each person who walks through the door. The community is awesome—so welcoming and supportive. It’s been a real blessing in my life and a much-needed reprieve from everyday stress. I highly recommend trying a class. You won’t regret it!

I recently joined this gym in May and so far it has been a great experience. All the coaches have an abundance of knowledge and attention to detail that I really appreciate to elevate my skills/technique. I’ve been training for 2.5 years and still have a lot to learn, it’s the right environment for me. It’s a place for all levels and backgrounds and I can see it becoming my martial arts home. Many of their students have been attending Royal for years and that says a lot about the community.

Amazing community of fighters and coaches! I moved to Philly with minimal Muay Thai experience and learned so much just within the first few months. The classes and people are great for all-levels and each week focuses on a different theme / fighter which I really enjoy. Highly recommend trying out the free week trial if you’re interested. Coach Aaron is the best 😁

I trained here from 2021 - 2025 until I had to move away for work. I joined a new gym a few months ago and it's really put into perspective how Royal is in a league above other gyms 😭 Pros: -Pricing is fair and you can cancel with only 2 months notice (very helpful if you suddenly have to move for work) -You can rent a locker so you don't have to haul your stuff back and forth! -Aaron and the other coaches and members have curated an environment that is positive and uplifting. It is very easy to make friends with everyone. -The coaches clearly put a lot of thought and planning into lessons. There's a new focus every week with new stuff to practice and learn. -There are semi-annual trips to Thailand to actually train in the homeland of Muay Thai. I never actually got to go on one, but I think it's so cool to have the opportunity to understand the cultural traditions and origin of this sport to better practice it. -Just all around really great place with great people running it. -Gritty goes to Royal!!! Cons: -Needs a bigger locker room lmao 🤣 In conclusion, great place to get buff. 10/10.
