This gyms coaches approach to jiu jitsu is a warm and welcoming one. From the moment I stepped on the mat all reservations went away. They are patient and kind and all the other members are great with newcomers as well which makes it that much more enjoyable!

SAS Philadelphia Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has been amazing for my 4-year-old son. The coaches are patient, kind, and great with kids. They keep the classes fun while still teaching discipline and confidence. My son loves going to class and always leaves happy and excited to come back. Highly recommend for kids.

SAS has become one of my favorite places and a highlight of my son's day. Anton and his fellow instructors have created a safe and welcoming learning environment for all. The kids classes are well organized. Between the instruction, fun exercises and games, the kids learn and have fun at the same time. Becoming part of this team has been a pleasure.

Our daughter has been a Little Lion for a couple months now and she loves it, everyday when I pick her up from school she asks to go to Jiu-Jitsu and it has become a highlight of her day. Anton is a great teacher; a calm demeanor but firm and authoritative when he needs to be, the kids respect him because he shows them respect. A clean and safe space where we all feel comfortable. We will be members here on going and enroll our son when he’s old enough.

We absolutely LOVE SASPhiladelphia Brazilian Jiu Jitsu!! Our 6 year old started 4 months ago on a trial, and after the 1st class we already knew we were going to join! The coaches here are all patient, encouraging, and truly great with the kids. Along with self defense and technique, they also focus on important life skills like discipline, respect, and confidence. The classes are fun and engaging while also being structured. The coaches do a great job at making all of the kids feel included no matter their level. You can tell they are all really passionate about what they do. My son loves coming here! I find us coming more days than we originally planned .. recently adding Fridays to our schedule lol. As a parent, I feel my child is completely safe here if I have to step away during class, and that says a lot! I am so happy we found coach Anton and his team! My son leaves every class energized and excited to come back the next day. If he has to miss class for any reason he is completely bummed. He tells all his family and friends about his experiences here, and is proud to say he does Jiu Jitsu. We are so grateful to have found such a great community.
