Excellent Martial Arts school. My son loves it. We were referred by a school friend and never looked back. It is a family run business and all classes are run by family members . Each instructor excels in teaching techniques and also respect and values.They show dedication and passion. There are varied class times to fit most schedules. The school manages to maintains very reasonable tuition costs. Also worth mentioning they are very active in the community and annually put together Thanksgiving dinners for those in need once again teaching kids the importance of helping people.

American Martial Arts teaches more than just karate or self defense. The instructors are excellent role models and set an example for the students. My children love to come to class and the instructors push the students to be their own personal best. I highly recommend AMA for children or adults.

We have been coming here as a family for more than 2 years. We started with my son, who was 4. He was very shy and wouldn't come out of his shell. By 6 months of being here, his confidence skyrocketed. He excelled in soccer, in which he wouldn't even go on the field the year before. We also later enrolled my daughter, and I take the Krav classes. All the instructors are fantastic. For the kids classes, they all have an understanding of how to reach the kids and make it fun and exciting. I enjoy the Krav classes as well, and feel they are well rounded in training for endurance, conditioning, karate, and self defense. Check them out!!

AMA is great, and Mr. Binyamin is world-class. Not only does he treat the kids with respect, but he also earns it in return, as does all of the instructors. Besides being a place to learn martial arts, they host many events throughout the year for students and their families. They offer free introductory classes, so I highly recommend you check it out.

I've been going here for 8-9 years, I'm a black belt, and I love it. The instructors take the time to help you learn anything you need, many times even staying after class to help you if need be. The classes are an amazing workout, and you come to attribute a certain style for every instructor. Not to mention the countless special events they offer on Friday nights and weekends from nerd gun wars to weapons classes. It's fascinating to see people so skilled in their craft, from nunchucks to amazing kicks, willing to teach you what they know. All in all, this school has been a constant for much of my life, and it really is great.
