Rock Steady boxing with Carolyn has been an incredible resource for our family. My wife was diagnosed in May of 2020 and once we found Rock Steady Boxing we found a place where Jan found her ‘people’. Community is important in dealing with Parkinson's and so is the wonderful people we work with here-and the variety of exercises we do to compliment the boxing helps keep Jan moving! We interact with other people with Parkinsons as well as interns in OT, PT, and occasionally even pharmacy! Carolyn is an incredible motivator and teacher and I can’t say enough good things about her and the people at Rock Steady!

Rock Steady EG isn’t just a group I took my grandmother to a few times a week, Rock Steady is family. We’ve been attending Parkinson’s boxing groups for over 5+ years now but it wasn’t until RS EG that we totally fell in love with the class experience. Carolyn and her husband along with all the PT OT students are nothing short of amazing. They not only encouraged, motivated and made an impact on the Parkinson’s patients but they were that support that the caregivers need. In the final months before my grandmother passed the support I received from this group was extraordinary. After my grandmothers recent passing, fellow caregivers and the staff at RockSteady have shown me so much love I will forever be grateful to them❤️ 1, 2 , 3 ROCK STEADY🥊

I am a clinical instructor at Johnson & Wales and I provide supervision of the occupational therapy fieldwork students at Rock Steady Boxing. This place is truly special. Carolyn is so knowledgeable about Parkinson's and committed to improving the quality of life for those living with it. She partners with various universities to incorporate occupational and physical therapy to compliment the high energy and innovative PD-focused exercises. I can't say enough about this program and its benefits. Once you walk in the door, you join a family!

I discovered Rock Steady Boxing in East Greenwich shortly after I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. I have been blessed ever since. I found a community of people who are dealing with the same issues as me and that is comforting. We share our experiences and hope. We ask each other questions. The program is phenomenal and after 15 months I have kept the physical progression at bay. I go twice a week and use many of the exercises at home each day that I am not in the gym. Carolyn is the heart and soul of the program. She is an expert in the the exercises as well as the disease. She has strengthened the program by bringing in student interns from our local occupational and physical therapy programs. I gave it 5 stars and would give it a 10 if I could
