I take the adult Systema classes here. I’m beyond grateful for what Sasha is teaching me and for who he is as a teacher mentor and friend He sincerely cares about the students learning journey and has helped me continue to reach personal bests. There is much more to say but for now I’ll say that while I still have a lot to learn I am considerably more confident in my breathing, relaxation , strength, situational awareness, and “conflict resolution” skills (should they be necessary ).

So glad I found this place! Sasha (owner and instructor) is a great teacher and very knowledgeable. He makes everyone feel comfortable, and challenges people in a supportive atmosphere. He does restoration exercises after class, whether breathing or stretching- very helpful. There are no contracts and the price is more than reasonable.

Love this school. The teacher can be tough, can be gentle, is often funny and engaging. He has inspired our daughter to push herself when challenged... in a way that works with her personality. I particularly like that there’s no “hard sell.” The monthly fees are clearly communicated. I highly recommend this Tae Kwondo (Korean Karate) studio. I feel lucky we found it.

Great Systema class! Learn natural intuitive movement providing not only optimal health and healing but also protection for yourself and others. Sasha's teaching is as surprisingly easy to follow as it is effective. His students include newcomers and highly trained professionals. An experience not to be missed!

Sasha Komocar is Amazing. I take the Russian Systema class offered Tues/Thurs/Sat . THE best self defense training EVER. Learn special forces and black belt material day 1. No belts, no bowing, no background needed, ANYONE can do it... MY KIDS love it. You do a move, and learn it... it is all bio-mechanics and very intuitive. (I liken every move to walking up behind your buddy, tapping behind his knee and watching him fall down. Everything to Systema is effortless and intuitive. You don't practice in the air, or in a mirror, you practice by doing, sparring / playing/ in a controlled friendly environment with awesome people. Role playing things like knife attacks and disarmament, multiple attackers, protecting loved ones from a assailant or multiples. My favorite is the Russian healing exercises at the end. I highly suggest anyone interested in self defense, or martial artists of other styles who want to learn moves to incorporate into your repertoire, or anyone wanting to have fun and try a new kind of work out. It is becoming a crazy world out there, and I like knowing that I can take someone down/out using 1 finger, or how to fight if my hands are full, or using my clothing as a weapon or defense, or proper techniques to shuttle loved ones to safety. If ever faced with a bad situation, I will be ready to BREATHE MOVE FIGHT
