Members consistently praise Coach Char for her exceptional coaching ability, noting she effectively trains both beginners and advanced boxers simultaneously while emphasizing proper fundamentals to prevent injury. Reviewers describe finding a welcoming "boxing family" with a positive atmosphere where everyone is greeted by name, and many say the gym became the "missing piece" in their fitness journey. The intense workouts leave participants feeling empowered, with parents noting significant improvements in their children's fitness and personal growth. One critical review questions the gym's authenticity compared to other boxing facilities and observes some regular members appearing disengaged, arriving just before class and leaving immediately after.

Coach Char is the best!! I came in with no experience, just wanting to try out boxing, and I immediately found Grind House to be my new home. There are not enough good things to say about her and her gym. If you're nervous to try out boxing, this is the place to start. You will find your new boxing family in no time. If you've been boxing for years and looking for a new gym, she will elevate your skills to the next level.

I joined Grind House Boxing in October, and I absolutely love it. Coach Char is amazing and you can tell her passion is helping others learn the love of Boxing. I love that she's able to coach me, a beginner, but also coach advanced members at the same time. It's definitely not for the weak or the uncoachable, but it's worth the work you put in, and you leave feeling empowered. Grind House was the missing piece to my puzzle, and I'm so thankful I found it.

My son (12) loves this gym! Amazing workouts and the positive atmosphere. He loves the changes he see’s & feels within himself. He has been going for 6 months at the time of this review. This is his most favorite thing next to his friends & cat lol I highly recommend checking out this gym, coach and members. Joining this gym has been the best decision we’ve made on his fitness & personal growth.

If you're searching for that missing piece in your life, look no further! Everyone I know has been negatively impacted from the pandemic, and a huge part of it happened when gyms shut down. Cardiovascular exercise as well as strength building increases endorphins, builds stamina, and creates a healthier mindset. You can find that motivational drive and zest for life again through Grindhouse Boxing! I've personally been a member of Coach Charlotte's gym for three months now, and I finally feel like my old self again after three years of searching for that missing piece. Keeping up a workout regimen can be daunting, but the staff and members at this gym make it feel like the easiest thing in the world. I've never found a friendlier gym where everyone knows you by name and greets you as soon as you enter. The workout is intense, and you're all the better for it after each session. A differentiating factor that separates Coach Charlotte from other gym leaders is her pure passion for not only creating a love of boxing for all members but also for showing the proper fundamentals to avoid injury, reserve energy, increase endurance, and develop a passion for her favorite sport. The love she has for her gym is evident in her speech, mannerisms, and technique. I guarantee one class is enough to get you hooked!

This is not a real boxing gym and she is not a real boxing coach. Most people just do the free class and don't come back, and don't bother to leave a review. Lookup the real boxing gyms in west Nashville, then look at grind house boxing - now it's so obvious, this is exactly what it would look like if someone was faking it. It's just another group mom fitness class, don't expect anything more, but don't recommend your mom go here either. Only the new people who don't come back ever go to the front, all of her regulars go to the back (to be as far away from her as possible) she has to tell the to move up, they all show up literally 1 minute before class begins and quickly leave immediately after. Weird vibes. Like they don't want to be there. Do the free class and see for yourself but do a couple drop ins before signing up for a membership, you won't want to finish it. I can't believe I almost settled for this.
