Hendersonville Martial Arts is a fantastic place for kids. The instructors are patient, attentive, and clearly know how to work with young students in a way that keeps them engaged while building real skills. The facility itself is clean, organized, and very professional. One thing I especially appreciate is their four-point student creed, which emphasizes character, discipline, and respect just as much as technical skill. It’s clear the program is focused not only on martial arts training, but also on helping kids grow into confident and responsible people. Highly recommended.

My daughter and I have been training at HMA for six months, and we absolutely love it!! The environment is incredibly positive and encouraging and every class pushes us to work harder in the best way. It’s been fantastic for our health, our confidence, and our mother-daughter bond. Highly recommend this dojo to anyone looking for a supportive, motivating place to train! 10 outta 10!!

Love this place. My daughter started this last fall. After 7 months in this place, she has grown so much in her form, her discipline, and her self control. It’s been amazing to see her wonderful instructors reinforcing the lessons on character development I’ve been trying to teach her at home. Speaking of her instructors: they are amazing. My husband said he wished he had instructors like that when he was a kid in martial arts. Shout out to Mr. Martin, Ms. Wolf, Mr. Caldwell, and Mr. Whitworth. All of them have worked with my daughter , infused joy and fun into martial arts, been firm in maintaining discipline, and also celebrated her achievements and growth with her. I love this place and can’t speak highly enough of HMA. Also, the parents night outs are a highlight the whole family looks forward to each month. We love you, HMA and Sensei!

My father is a black belt so I had heard my whole life about the numerous benefits of getting into martial arts at a young age. Me and my wife thought it would be a great idea for her daughter to attend classes and we gave HMA a try. I would highly recommend for anyone considering putting their child in Martial Arts. They teach discipline, respect, and self control amongst other things. The staff and instructors are wonderful and always easy to work with. It has helped our child make great strides and I would highly recommend.
