Profectus West Jiu Jitsu

I started doing jiujitsu because I was overweight and obviously unhealthy I needed a hobby that would help with that but also keep my interest. My first instructor was Bruno, and he quickly became like family to mine. That hobby then grew to something a bit more. I started to compete and their training has put me on the top of a few podiums. Profectus encompasses many gyms in middle TN and one of the MANY great things is they let you train at all of them. Until West opened I trained at the downtown and at Brentwood locations, because of the stellar training they bring to the mix, but was putting way more miles on my car than I like. Now that they have opened up closer to home for me and I can keep training with the same instructors and can stay at home in Bellevue. I enjoyed it so much that I put my son in and he has enjoyed it as much as me. I can't say enough good things about how jiujitsu and Profectus have helped me become better, stronger, and healthier person.

We have been extremely satisfied with the training at Profectus West Jiu Jitsu! My son loves it! Professor Bruno is amazing! He is authentic, treats everyone with respect and is an excellent instructor! If you're interested in learning and participating in the competitive side of BJJ, he is tried and true! Both my kids (5yo girl and 9yo boy) are enjoying learning jiu jitsu at Profectus West. Very fortunate for them to learn under such an expert in Professor Bruno; and professors Scott and Jason are great as well. Classes are very consistent and available most nights of the week and Saturdays. Very familiar and comfortable atmosphere with focus on development. Great balance of learning new techniques and practicing them via sparring!
