Scruggs karate has been such a blessing to our daughter and our family over the last few years. Enrolling her into their karate program has given her so much more confidence and belief in herself. She enjoys training with all the instructors and we love that she learns self defense and life skills within every class. We also keep her enrolled in their SKS program and camps which is helpful for working parents. It's more than a karate studio; it's a place of friendship, adventure, laughter, and acceptance.

Amazing Facility for kids, they teach self discipline, incorporate life skills in karate sessions & on top of that they have an incredible sensei that takes pride in what he does!! So glad I took the opportunity to enroll my daughter, we have been here over 2 years & we have enjoyed every phase of this program, my daughter is now an orange belt & is nothing but smiles after leaving Karate!

My son has been attending for the past few years, and the growth I’ve seen in him has been amazing. When he first started, he was very shy and hesitant to come out of his shell—but the instructors created such a supportive and encouraging environment that he quickly began to build confidence. Over time, he’s not only developed his skills, but he’s also made great friends and become so much more self-assured. This studio has helped shape him in the best way, and I’m grateful for the positive impact it’s had on his life. 10/10 Highly recommend for any parent looking to help their child grow, both on and off the mat!

Both my son and daughter have thrived at Scruggs Karate & Kickboxing Studio, participating in both karate and the SKS Kickz4Kidz program. I can’t speak highly enough of Scruggs Karate family for the impact they have on the AntiochNashville community. The owner has created a major resource with the before and after care program. This is a fun and safe and reliable afternoon school program located about 10 minutes or less from most of the Antioch schools. Thanks Sensei!!
