Really enjoyed the adult classes. TKN got me into the best shape of my life; both mentally and physically. It has a super professional atmosphere without being unnecessarily and over the top strict. There are a lot of martial arts schools who think they teach discipline by yelling. Or you have the opposite where teenagers who earned a black belt in about 8 months teach the classes. This is not the case with TKN. Definitely recommend as the best martial arts school in Nashville.

The Traditional Karate Dojo on East Thompson Lane in Nashville, Tennessee is a great experience for all ages. My daughter has been attending for the past 4 months and absolutely loves the Little Tigers class, she's 5 years old. Zack and Ian do a great job teaching the kids a wide variety of skills centered around traditional karate and the values. My daughter enjoys learning and saying alot of the Japanese commands and words that represent actions to body parts. Zack and Ian's classes have been great for teaching karate, exercise, focus, balance/body control and they make it enjoyable with the different competitions for the kids. Class schedules are offered 3 times per week for our age group which offered flexibility with busy schedules which was nice. The testing sessions were cool and my daughter is so proud each time she earns a stripe towards the next belt. 1st time class is free to see how kids like it and the uniform is free with 1st month Fee. I would recommend Traditional Karate to anyone who has children or wants to learn from quality teachers with integrity.
