Universal Kempo Karate is an amazing family owned martial arts school and has become like a family to us! We enrolled our son, then daughter and we now we attend as a family of 4. Instructor Hiroko is one of the most patient, talented and kind Instructors I've ever met! Joining this school has been the best decision we've ever made!

I had an amazing time! The community felt like a second family to me and Mrs.Hiroko is a very supportive and inspiring teacher who helped me learn a lot about myself and others. I got to work with different kinds of weapons which was super fun! Training with everyone was awesome and I made lots of new friends. It really is more than just martial arts! I highly recommend it to anyone interested in learning martial arts or attending a martial arts school for all experience levels and ages!👍

I took the self-defense class. I feel much more confident. The content of the class was more than I expected. The instructor and her assistant were extremely professional as well as kind hearted. Highly recommend I’m going back for the intermediate class. The parking lot is usually full, but there is a little bit of parking on the side.

The training at universal kempo is top notch. Instructor Hiroko is caring, strong, focused and fun! She focuses on safety while teaching them karate and self defense. The kids learn from her, each other, and support and grow together. It’s a fantastic environment to learn!
