Young Guns Wrestling

One of the best clubs run by some amazing folks. Lucky to have it close by. Has support for all ages levels. From my 4 year old (Ty & Cary are amazing!) to my 14 year old national-level wrestler.

Jody & John are great coaches & even better role models. They have created a culture where it’s more than just becoming a good wrestler but a good person. They strive to surround the kids with positive role models, where you will see kids helping each other to grow. We love our Young Guns wrestling family.

I went to the 5 day camp next I knew I would go to Keystone States The PJW and 7 the food amazing the people amazing would recommend and loved the wrestlers they brought in Bo Bassett was my favorite and it was the takedown camp that really changed my wrestling I went from not shooting to shot every time over all great camp.

This is a top-notch facility to send your children to to learn to be a better wrestler. My son unfortunately developed tonsillitis towards the end of his camp. The reason for my five star review is the excellent care my son received from the owner and his wife. We are down in Florida and they made sure that he got proper medical treatment immediately stayed with him at the hospital when they did not have to. My son learned a lot while he was there and we are thankful for the experience. A special thanks to the owner and his wife for taking good care of my son. If your kid comes with the correct attitude and is willing to learn they are going to do great, and will be in safe hands as I can attest to in this review.

My 12 year old son has enjoyed 5 YG's camps across 3 summers and can't wait for the next! Jody and John Strittmatter do a truly amazing job of not only teaching wrestling in a nearly perfect environment, but fostering a love of the sport while requiring behaviors that enforce the need for kids to be a better person than they are a wrestler. My wife and I can't say enough about how thankful we are for what the Strittmatters have created at Young Guns. Thank you!
