Great for my high energy son! He used to have behavior issues at school but ever since joining Muay Thai and Brazilian jiujitsu, I haven't received any calls!! Instructors Alef and Mike are awesome, they truly know how to speak and teach. They notice everything including when drawing the line of “its time to play” and “its time to learn”. I also really enjoy the instructor to student ratio, it doesn't feel like your child is being left out. All attention is always on them.

Highly recommend this place. Supportive environment and very welcoming of new people. The instructors are exceedingly patient but what I was really surprised by was how helpful the other members are. Everyone really goes out of their way to mentor members with less experience. There are plenty of serious competitors here to support you if you want to throw yourself into training but also a great option if your looking for something more casual to incorporate exercise and establish a base level of competence in self defense. Thanks to everyone at the gym!

Alliance Houston welcomed me and my team with open arms!! Awesome atmosphere and great instructions. My team and I were in Houston conducting some military training, Marco was the first of multiple gyms to contact me back after reaching out looking for a gym to train for the week. He expressed his gratitude towards veterans and allowed us to train for free during the week! Alef was our professor, he is professional, super kind, and extremely well versed in his instruction. He’s also a killer on the mats. I work in military contracting and I travel a lot. Alliance Houston is a second home! Highly recommended!

We’ve been part of this school for a few months now, but I’ve known Coach Alef for a few years. My child absolutely loves jiu-jitsu and even competed in his first tournament recently! He’s learning so much — discipline, self-defense, endurance, and life skills that he’ll carry with him forever. We’re so grateful for the positive environment and amazing coaching.

This is a great school that offers flexible schedules with an open mat on Sundays. I attend the adult classes, both Muay Thai and BJJ. All the students are super friendly. The gym is well-equipped with multiple mats and heavy bags, which are always clean and perfectly maintained. The instructors are top notch and very helpful. No matter your skill or age, everyone is welcome here. It's really a wonderful place to train.
