Professor Carlos truly brought me into Jiu-Jitsu. Even though I had never stepped on the mats before, he made me feel welcome from day one and helped me fall in love with Jiu-Jitsu. The academy has an amazing atmosphere, incredible people, and a strong sense of community. One of the best academies out there. Huge thanks to Professor Carlos and everyone else!

I’ve trained BJJ for 5 years out of state, and moved to Houston about 18 months ago. I took a year looking around for a place that made me feel I could train safely, and wound up here. Professor Carlos impressed me with his school; technicality, a focus on self defense, and a safe training environment are readily offered here for all ages. The community fostered by classmates is highly encouraging and supportive. Can’t recommend this school enough!

This academy is amazing! I've been going for a little under two weeks now but I've been having a blast. I'm brand new to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu but Professor Carlos is an incredible trainer who pays attention to details and is very attentive. His positive attitude rubs off on the other students who are also wonderful to work with, and everyone has something to teach. I feel so welcome here and I've been looking forward to coming to class the more I do it. I've been in Gymnastics and Dance before but I've never gotten the passion that I get here. These people are the best, sincerely.
