Our son has been training here for almost a year. The growth we’ve seen has been clear, not only in his technique, but in his confidence and focus. What stands out most to us is the atmosphere. It truly feels like a community. The environment is welcoming and well-structured, giving the kids both discipline and space to enjoy what they’re learning. The coaches are attentive and genuinely invested in each child’s progress. We’re very glad we found this academy and appreciate being part of it.

My son trains here in both jiu-jitsu and striking, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The coaches do an excellent job making kids feel comfortable while still challenging them to improve. Joe, the owner, is incredibly kind to everyone, but he teaches discipline in a fun and engaging way that really connects with the kids. He knows how to balance structure and humor, which makes a big difference. My son has learned so much since starting, not just techniques, but also discipline and confidence. We’ve seen a huge improvement in his skills, and most importantly, he genuinely enjoys going to class. He’s getting better every week and always leaves with a smile. Highly recommend.

This place literally changed my life. I'm 53 years old and had never done MMA or BJJ before. After 20+ years behind a desk, health issues started creeping in—until I walked through the doors here in December. Since then I've lost 40 pounds of body fat, gotten significantly stronger, and just earned my first BJJ stripe last Thursday. The moment I step inside, all the stress, work pressure, life drama—stays outside. The training is intense but welcoming. I train five days a week: no-gi Mondays, gi Tuesday/Thursday, boxing/kickboxing Wednesday, and BJJ/striking Saturday mornings. I'm here every chance I get. The people are incredible—friendly, encouraging, and genuinely supportive. They've become real friends. Whether you're 53 like me or just starting out, Condition 1 Combat is a safe, motivating place to grow, get stronger, and leave everything else behind. Highly recommend. 🥋"

This martial arts gym has been incredibly welcoming from day one. I had observed other gyms around the area, but Condition 1 Combat Center drew me back! Joe, the owner and the other instructors are highly skilled and intentional in how they teach. They make sure the techniques are clear, and ensure students understand fundamentals. They are approachable, patient, and genuinely invested in helping everyone improve. (calling you by name!) I was drawn to the environment because it is social and I made a friend immediately, which makes me feel like part of the community rather than just another member. Pricing is reasonable for the quality and variety of classes. They also have a hybrid setup with martial arts training and weights/gym equipment, which is a big plus for my fitness and strength training goals! Overall, its a great place to train, grow, and stay motivated, whether you are a beginner or more experienced! I'm also almost 50 years old and I feel supported and welcome here-Shy

Joe and Tia have built an incredible atmosphere where you can train hard, grow stronger, and genuinely have fun doing it. As a Veteran-owned and operated facility, they bring a strong sense of leadership, discipline, and integrity to everything they do. It’s an especially great place for Veterans and their children to feel connected, supported, and part of something meaningful. Their coaches are extremely knowledgeable, encouraging, and truly invested in helping each person reach their individual goals. The facility is always clean, organized, and safe, creating a comfortable environment where everyone can thrive. What really sets them apart is the community—they’ve created a welcoming space where everyone is treated like family from day one. Their kids JiuJitsu program is just as impressive. It goes far beyond technique, teaching practical self-defense while building confidence, character, discipline, and respect. It’s incredible to see how much the kids grow both on and off the mats.
