Grind House is a top notch facility with excellent instructors with a very strong and positive gym culture. Whether you are looking to get into shape or interested in martial arts I highly recommend Grind House. In addition to the gym fitness side of things they offer Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (both Gi and No Gi), strength and conditioning, and Mixed Martial Arts (wrestling and striking) training. Alyssa and Kris are both BJJ black belts under Travis Tooke and are some of the nicest people in the Houston BJJ community! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Very amazing gym. The coaches explain in detail the proper techniques and the reason behind it while also being very patient and welcoming to newcomers. Love the layout of the place too, would definitely recommend for anyone to come try a free trial class!

I was a bit skeptical to start my training journey. I had no experience and little knowledge. Every single coach here made me feel comfortable from day one. They take the time to get to know you and understand your fitness/competitive goals. The coaches here will push you in a positive way and always stress safety during classes which makes a beginner, like myself, less timid. If you are looking for a gym that treats their members like family, look no further! Grind House is the only place to be.
