For 11 years, this academy has been transforming lives through Jiu-Jitsu. What makes it special? The incredible team that treats every student like family. Professor Brian Marvin stands out for his amazing work with kids – my child comes home from every class excited and empowered, not just with new skills but with boosted confidence. The way he combines technique with patience and fun is truly special. It's rare to find a place that balances world-class training with such a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're a beginner or advanced, young or old, you'll find a supportive community here. Thank you, RG Houston, for 11 years of excellence in teaching both Jiu-Jitsu and life lessons!

Renzo is a great school to learn BJJ in a safe and professional environment. They also provide women’s class on Sundays at 9:00 am taught by Professor Mayra. A healthy and supportive community to grow and experience all that jiu jitsu has to offer as well as the people.

We’re incredibly grateful to the team at Renzo Gracie Houston for their warm hospitality. The culture at this gym is truly something special-perhaps the best we’ve experienced after training across both Canada and the U.S. My sons felt welcomed from the moment they stepped on the mats. The environment was respectful, supportive, and focused on growth - exactly what you hope to find in a great jiu-jitsu academy. Thank you for making us feel at home. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Beyond a solid gym for BJJ. My kids have been going for nearly a year and I just started. Multiple class options with a great network of professors. Professor Brian is experienced and is great with the kids. He focuses on empowering the kids but also controlling themselves. Professor Brian even has a way of communicating and coaching students with attention and socialization difficulties. This is a popular gym for the 2nd - 6th grade group as well so there's lots of gym buddies.
