Level Up Martial Arts

My child has been attending Level Up Martial Arts in Sandy for a while now, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Jason and Gabs are incredibly patient, positive, and truly invested in each student’s growth. They create a supportive environment where kids build confidence, discipline, and real martial arts skills while still having fun. The classes are well-structured and organized, and the staff does an amazing job balancing encouragement with high expectations. We’ve seen so much improvement not just in technique, but also in focus and responsibility at home and school. The facility is clean, welcoming, and very family-friendly. We had lots of challenges to send my son to his previous karate class but since e started attending this class, he always looks forward to going, and we’re grateful to have found such a fantastic program. If you’re looking for a place where your child can learn martial arts, build character, and feel motivated, Level Up Martial Arts is an excellent choice!

My 13 year-old daughter has been attending Level Up for about a year now, and loves it. "Sensei" means "Teacher," and Sensei Jason embodies the best traits of a teacher for children and teens: he is kind, patient, and the kids hang off his every word and demonstration. My daughter has benefitted from the self-discipline, confidence, and fitness she has gained as she climbed the ranks and earned rank. Seeing how hard work pays dividends has had a positive result on her academics as well.

Jason is great, he engages with the kids but ensures they maintain discipline and focus. My daughter has loved going since the trial class. Perfect activity to keep your kid busy for the summer.

My daughter has been attending Level Up for almost a year now. She's making great progress and loves attending. Sensei Jason has created a supportive, empowering environment that teaches self-confidence, self-defense and physical fitness. Out of all the schools we looked at in the area, this one is by far the most organized and structured. I highly recommend signing up for the free trial classes if you're interested.

Can I just say this place is a dream come true! We have been hunting for a place for a while. My kids have been here for almost two months and it's just getting better. Sensei Jason is calm, controlled, fair, and fun. Nothing gets past him. Sensei Gabby is sweet, bright and my kids adore her as well. There are strict rules but my kids love it. They wake up on karate days and even ask to go early. My kids are completely different from each other but they are both getting the most out of it. They get their energy, fear, and anger out. They learn not only self control, how to defend themselves, and martial arts, but they have learned so much respect already. It's a great price for the consistent lessons multiple times a week as well. I haven't found a place cheaper. The sensei, the dojo, the energy: it is an amazing place to take any kid. I recommend it to anyone that asks me.
