reviewsWhat Members Say
Members consistently praise the gym's friendly, welcoming atmosphere and exceptionally clean, well-maintained facilities with high-end amenities like organic toiletries and a cafe. They highlight the huge space with extensive climbing options, a fully equipped fitness area, and recreational features, though some note crowding during peak times and mats that could be thicker. A few reviewers express frustration with access restrictions requiring certification classes for certain climbing areas and occasional staff attitudes, but most find the premium experience worth the cost. The vibe is described as queer positive, bougie, and inclusive, with a clientele that tends to be affluent and well-equipped.

We came here while visiting from out of town, to do some bouldering. It's a beautiful gym! The problems were fun and challenging. Everyone we talked with (staff and other climbers) were super friendly, a very welcoming vibe. Will go back whenever we're in SLC!

Very fancy…. I was initially disappointed because I started my climbing journey as a child at the OG Front, when it was just a wee shack with some bouldering, and then really got into it during my college days at a dingy little dirtbag Florida climbing gym. I EXPECT dirt baggery as part of my climbing experience, but many of the folks here have the nicest gear you can find on the market, the highest quality gym clothes, etc. This turned me off for my first few years after moving back to SLC, but I decided to give it another go… and, okay, the folks making $100k+ and wearing full REI fits aren’t so bad. The people here don’t smell bad or look dirty enough, but the facility is well-kept, bougie as hell (I like the showers and the organic shampoos/conditioners… very nice…. however, there’s probably a correlation between the disappearance of dirt bag culture and the overabundance of fancy organic toiletries), the vibes are queer positive, and everyone is pretty chill. There is like a 90:10 man to woman ratio, so if you’re a man looking to meet a beautiful lady by joining the gym… probably not here. Maybe join a local Pilates club or something. For the exorbitant membership fee, I’d say it’s worth it. Even if you’re broker than a family heirloom in a cursed bloodline, like me! good classes, great second place to chill in SLC outside of your own house, a hiking trail, or a library… and yeah. The only thing that could make it better is if they could get a gym cat to walk around the premises.

This place is HUGE. It has climbing, bouldering, extensive merch, a cafe, and other gym stuffs. I think the lawn chair theme is hilarious and unexpected. The bouldering mats could be a little thicker in my opinion when compared to the mats at my home gym. The orientation/waver video really puts the fear of god into you too. I would likely come back here!

Fun climbing gym. Was pretty crowded and a bit hard to find a top rope on a weekday between 6-8ish. There is lead climbing, auto belays, bouldering on three floors, and top roping. The walls are super tall. They also have a nice selection of gear for sale. There is also ping pong, foosball, a nice gym area with lots of squat racks and other machines and free weights, bands, etc. the bathrooms and showers were nice. The staff was also super friendly! I also think they just opened a cafe inside too. Overall a good gym to check out looking forward to seeing their other locations.

So they had me pay for me and my kid, then told us we weren't able to use the ropes and the non bouldering wall cause they didn't have anybody to teach us. So I got a Lil PO and went to the employee and said I wanted a refund cause 3/4 of the gym we weren't able to use without their little class. They still refused to refund me so we ended up just bouldering which isn't worth 40 dollars for me and 20 $ for my son. They wouldn't even take the time to teach us, even tho I already had experience they said we needed to be certified by them. Kinda BS but it was a nice place besides all the employees attitude and demenor.
