I have a tremendous level of respect for the studio and legacy that Master Kwon, his family, and the other instructors at World Martial Arts have built. I think it’s hard to overstate the positive impact that this studio has had on the local community and to kids across the valley. Our son has grown tremendously over the last year during his time at the studio. He’s been hungry for structure, community, and challenge. The Kwon family has a knack for providing an environment that provides these attributes while also being incredibly patient and intentional with their students. I’m consistently impressed by the level of care and patience the instructors have with the children at each age and level, and I’ve personally grown as a parent by watching how the teachers here interact with their students. Master Susan is particularly inspiring and her leadership has an obvious effect on the other instructors. It’s rare to find a group of folks with whom you feel fully comfortable entrusting the well being of your child, but the leadership group here proves their capability and trustworthiness in each session. Parking is tricky, which is perhaps the only downside of this particular location. However, there’s not a lot that can be done to improve this reality given the layout of the property and surrounding businesses. We do hope this reality changes in the future, but I think the popularity of the studio (and subsequent parking traffic as a result) is a good indication that WMA is doing something right. Grateful for having this studio in our community, and look forward to supporting them for years to come.

They have not just been a martial arts studio. They have been inspiring, empowering, and utterly amazing for my child. He has only been there for three weeks and has more discipline, self respect and respect for others. The other children are also respectful and everyone is the best influence for my son. Their after school program is the best childcare program I have ever had my son in and I have tried over a dozen in seven years all over the city, none of them compare to this! I love this place and highly recommend it to everyone!

We love this place - it is steeped in love and passion. It has been so good for our 4yo boy; we have seen a huge boost in his focus and confidence since starting. Highly recommend for kiddos.

We recently did a class with our Homeschool group at World Martial Arts as we studied Korea. The staff put together an engaging presentation that held the children’s attention beautifully and taught them about an exciting part of the world. As part of the presentation the kids were able to participate in a Taekwondo class and learn about the values that are so much a part of both the art and culture. It was a fantastic, FUN learning experience. We all loved it!!

The benefits our 5 year old has had from studying at World Martial Arts are truly immeasurable. It is such a great balance between discipline and fun, and our kiddo often talks about how much he loves it. He lights up when we pull into the parking lot, and loves to practice at home. He is growing more confident with each passing week, and has a greater understanding of respect than before. The instructors are all so kind and engaging with both the students and the parents. We are so grateful we found this program.
