My daughter has been learning from Master Paul at this studio for 2 years. After much research and visiting other schools, we were so happy to have found this one. Chae's TKD is about teaching the art of taekwondo. As another person posted, this is the real deal! The kids learn properly. Master Paul is great with the kids. They get time to get their wiggles out before class but when class starts he has expectations which are necessary to learn the art. I'm present for every class my daughter is in and it's very obvious that Master Paul enjoys teaching the kids. I recommend this studio to anyone who wants to learn Tae kwon do.

My son attended chaes for 6 years, started at 4 years old. Earned his blackbelt then we had to move. I highly recommend anyone interested in tkd look no further than Master Paul. He learned from the best in Master Chai. This is real Korean tkd and you will earn everything here nothing is givin. This was one of the best experience my son ever had from the tournaments at Va Wesleyan and other schools around the east coast to the classes on the beach. Master Paul is the best in the business hands down.

Fantastic place to begin your martial arts journey for kids and adults. Master Paul has a particular gift for capturing and captivating children of all ages, holding their attention, and giving them lessons that are seldom seen in the world today. His experience and dedication is what truly makes this dojang different from any other. Oh and did I mention He has more patience than any doctor…

Master Paul is truly incredible with the kids! He is patient, understanding, and skilled at working with children of all different personalities and energy levels. It genuinely feels like a family here. Everyone is friendly, supportive, and always ready to help. It’s a fantastic place for kids to learn Taekwondo and build confidence!
