My son is autistic and they are GREAT with him! In just a few weeks we saw improvements in his attention and motor skills. Sensei Thompson and his team of black belts work very well with the kids and I have observed very good behaviors taught and reinforced while I have been here. I recommend enrolling here for adults and children. Thank you Sensei Thompson!!

My daughter has been with Ryoshin Kan since she was 6 years old. I started her during the summer to see if she enjoyed it. She is now 9 and will be getting her black belt in Dec. She loves it so much she wants to go 7 days a week (and does). I used to worry about how much energy she had and Ryoshin Kan/ Sensei Tim Thompson has taught her how to control herself and to use her energy in a positive manor. I could never ask for anything more... nor did I ever expect what a positive influence karate has been in her life... She maintains honor role and has been recognized at her school for her positive attitude and willing to assist others. Ryoshin Kan is not only a karate school... We are a family.... we watch everyone grow as individuals but we also watch them grow as a team. We have so many stories and laughs and everyday is a new memory. I could never ask for a better school/role model. Sensei Tim Thompson focuses on each child and their families... He also cares about their needs. He is a remarkable man.

The owner is so kind and just has a wonderful soul. He is fantastic with kids. Stern but still soft. My son is a bit of a mommas boy who cries easily but Tim seems to know how to toughen him up. My son really enjoys it in there, and is learning to be more respectful and to listen better. He was so kind to even get him and all the other children gifts and cards on their birthdays. Was really extra special

One of the best karate school on the planet. Both my son and daughter attended the karate school and went from white belt to black belt. My son was on the demo team and thoroughly enjoyed the training, making friends , going on field trips , learning social skills and how to defend himself while enjoying the camaraderie between the students. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for self improvement at all levels.
