When looking at all the gyms in Williamsburg, I wasn’t sure if this would be best option, but once I had joined, I quickly realized I had made the best decision!

My daughter started at this gym at 6 years old, in September, and before I signed her up, she wanted absolutely nothing to do with mixed martial arts. She was shy, nervous, and honestly pretty scared to even step on the mat. From day one, Coach Heather and Coach Drew made her feel comfortable, safe, and supported. They were patient and encouraging. Now she absolutely loves going to class. But what has been even more amazing to watch is how far she has come. The progression in just a few months has been incredible, not just in her technique and skill, but in her confidence, discipline, and mindset. She pushes through challenges instead of backing away. As a mom, there is nothing more powerful than seeing your daughter truly believe in herself. If you're looking for a gym for your kids to train at, whether it’s for self-defense or to truly learn how to compete, this is the one.

I started training Muay Thai at another gym but got frustrated because I did not know any of the basics. HOMT takes a much better approach. They start you slow with the bag class to teach the basics before you move into fundamentals. After that, you progress to Advanced Muay Thai for live sparring. This structured path laid a solid foundation for me before I ever started sparring anyone.

I have been involved in the martial arts world for many years. These coaches are the real deal and excellent at instructing the children’s class! They take the time to repeat instructions and are very patient with the kids! A true gem of a Muah Thai Gym!!

Started here a year and some change ago with no prior martial arts training and sincerely have loved every class. Heather, Drew, Alonzo & Sydney are super dedicated to the gym and make everyone feel welcome almost immediately — especially woman. I’ve boasted about this place more times than I can count and have made amazing friends in the gym. If you’re questioning whether or not to do muay thai - this is the sign COMPLETELY worth every penny.
