Alpha Martial Arts Ballard

My son Eli started karate at AMA in 2017 at age 7 and continued training with Mr. Busch until he was 11 (2021). Eli’s experience with AMA gave him a great foundation both physically and mentally to continue on as a competitive athlete. Mr. Busch was a positive mentor in Eli’s life through out the difficulties of the pandemic and truly cared about our son.

My son's been practicing at Alpha Martial Arts for a little under 3 months. It's been fun to watch his confidence and skills improve. He's really enjoying his classes and you can tell Mr. Busch truly cares about his students. I appreciate the social/emotional components to each class and the mix of focused physical exercise and fun.

Mr Busch is a dedicated and compassionate teacher for my daughter’s karate class. She has progressed at a good pace learning the materials but has also learned that we have to practice to keep Moving forward. He has always been patient with her and is helping the entire class to learn valuable life lessons. We look forward to going to class every week. So glad we found Alpha Martial Arts and Mr. Busch.

Mr Busch is simply wonderful. He brings a stellar mix of humor and discipline to each class. It keeps the students focused and happily engaged. I am thrilled to have such a great role model in my son’s life. I recommend AMA Ballard to all my friends because I have seen my son’s confidence and dedication grow with this program.

Mr. Busch is a natural and talented teacher who encourages positivity and discipline while making it fun for the kids. I've heard of other schools where the classes are cancelled with limited notice but Mr. Busch is a great communicator and consistent/reliable with managing a busy schedule. We can't recommend AMA-Ballard and Mr. Busch more highly!
