My kids are learning self-defense and discipline and they love it. Great instructor who takes martial arts very seriously and makes the kids work hard while still having fun.

Extremely positive and fun environment for students of all ages. My teenage daughter and son have trained with me here for over a year. Masters Kamara and Choe are excellent teachers, focused on encouraging and building up the students, as well as their skills, while having fun at the same time. The program offers a practical and street-wise approach to traditional Hapkido, which includes strikes, kicks, joint-locks, take-downs and throws. In addition, the program also has a strong emphasis on ground-fighting techniques and submissions. As a father and a student myself, I highly recommend it.

An incredible dojang with decades of experience, wisdom and practical knowledge to offer. After a 5-year break from martial arts, I signed up for Conqueror Hapkido's adult classes to see if I could get back into the rhythm of training again; I entered motivated but very nervous about whether I would be able to keep up. Luckily, this tight-knit group of masters and instructors accommodated for me without batting an eye, and I've felt very welcomed since, even with my slower learning pace compared to the other students. This school has a very strong focus on practical/effective self-defense and (at least compared to schools I've attended in the past) a VERY affordable tuition-- making it a unique gem amongst the other schools in the area. If you are looking to train martial arts earnestly for the sake of protecting yourself and others, I highly recommend learning here.

A True Gem for Learning Practical Self-Defense As someone who's trained in martial arts since the age of 6, I can confidently say that Conqueror is a true gem for passionate martial artists like myself and anyone who is interested in learning practical self-defense skills. While I've competed in various disciplines, including Sanda, wrestling, MMA, and Brazilian Jiujitsu, throughout my life, as I've gotten older, my training priorities have shifted from sport to self-defense. I went to several different schools in the area, but, ultimately, settled on Conqueror. To be honest, I was originally a little hesitant to try Hapkido since I'd heard criticisms that it isn't very effective. My initial skepticism and preconceived notions were dispelled during my first class. Master Ali teaches a unique self-defense system that integrates Hapkido with other arts, such as Brazilian Jiujitsu, Karate, Taekwondo, Muay Thai, Boxing, wrestling, and Judo, with an emphasis on real-world applications. As such, he has modified the traditional Hapkido techniques by combining them with Brazilian Jiujitsu and wrestling principles, making them undeniably effective. Right off the bat, I noticed how my existing skills were enhanced and complemented by his instruction. Master Ali and Master Roland are both exceptional. Frankly, I don't think other instructors in the area have even close to their level of experience in both martial arts and real self-defense situations. Their wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience makes every class engaging and enlightening. While they push us to improve our skills, they keep classes fun and enjoyable. They also foster a positive and respectful environment that encourages students to grow and excel, both on and off the mat. Whether you're a seasoned martial artist like me or someone looking to start their martial arts journey, I highly recommend Conqueror. The caliber of instructors, the integrated self-defense system, and the practicality of the training make it a one-of-a-kind experience. My skills have improved immensely, and I'm excited to continue my martial arts journey here. Don't miss out on this opportunity! Five stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My two kids have been training here for about 2½ years, and they absolutely love it. Master Ali and Coach Andrew are extremely patient with kids and make every class fun, engaging, and interesting, which really keeps them motivated and excited to attend. I have personally been attending the 12+ age class for over a year, and I still enjoy every session. For the adult classes, I’ve trained with Master Ali, Master Jerry, Coach Michael, and Coach Andrew — all excellent instructors. Each has their own specialty in martial arts, and they generously share not only their technical knowledge but also real life experience, which makes learning very meaningful and practical. The instructors are passionate, supportive, and welcoming, especially for those who are new to martial arts. I genuinely love coming here and highly recommend this Hapkido program for both kids and adults. It’s a fantastic place to learn, grow, and stay motivated.
