This place is great! Sensei Tobey and the whole staff are amazing. The whole family has been taking classes for over a year, respect, kindness, honesty, self-discipline and self-confidence are qualities that have flourished since the onset of training. I highly recommend ECK!!

My four-year-old son is six months into weekly classes and really enjoying it so far. It's a great after-school active activity that's both fun and teaches discipline.

My son has been attending classes at ECK for a year now and he absolutely LOVES it! The senseis are super knowledgeable and they are awesome with kids! I wish we found this school sooner!

We did a couple of trial classes here and the only issue for us was distance. If we lived just a little bit closer we’d have signed our kiddo up without hesitation, because Sensei James is amazing with the kiddos. Ours is a wild one and seeing the Sensei with the rest of the class, I was just so impressed. He balanced correction and tolerance perfectly.

Tobey is overly physical and touchy with children and staff and is a proud supporter of Autism Speaks. Unfortunately would not recommend this studio for parents of neurodivergent children. My child attended this studio for several months in 2023. I do not share my name publicly on the internet for safety reasons. It is unfortunate and concerning that current staff is unaware of Tobey’s patterns of behavior, but hopefully this dojo is safer with him in Japan. This dojo has experienced a significant amount of turnover in staff, particularly during the time my child attended.
