My teen daughter and I have been taking Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Self Defense classes together, and I can't recommend them enough! The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and supportive, making sure everyone feels comfortable and empowered. I love that we get to learn these important life skills together in such a fun and encouraging environment. This class is not just about self-defense—it's about building strength, awareness, and resilience. If you're thinking about joining, do it! You won’t regret it!

My son is 7 years old and was a bit apprehensive trying Gracie out given a less than awesome experience at a different jiu-jitsu school, but after his first class he was here he was hooked! The teachers are absolutely excellent and the curriculum is structured in a way that keeps kids engaged, learning and most importantly having fun. I highly recommend giving them a try.

My husband and I have been attending adult beginner JJ classes for about 2 months and can’t say enough great things about this school. The instructors are dedicated and excited to teach. It’s a welcoming learning environment without aggression or competition and everyone is very collegial with one another. Learning a new skill as an adult can be intimidating but this is truly a great place to learn. I would certainly recommend to anyone who is hoping to learn a new skill and self defense.

At first, I thought it was suspicious that these guys had a perfect 5 star average, but I get it now. Gracie Jiu-Jitsu is incredible. I’ve gotten to observe my 8-year-old multiple times now, and it’s clear that every single kid in the room is having a fantastic time. The kids’ classes are like 1/3rd martial arts, 1/3rd group counseling session, and 1/3rd fun. The instructors are super supportive, and super inclusive. Plus, they have crystal clear expectations for higher skill students to take on a teaching and helping role for newer students, which means nobody ever feels bad for winning or losing an activity, and no pairing ever feels unfair. Will my kid turn into a Jiu Jitsu master one day? I don’t care, but this is an amazing activity.

The best place I could have found to start my jiu-jitsu journey! Everyone is very welcoming and friendly, the environment feels safe, and the instructors are so good at going through every step to make sure you feel comfortable. 10/10 recommend for anyone wanting to learn.
