Honey Badger Operations has provided our Security Officers with unparalleled training! Their courses provide real-world best practices, clearly rooted in decades of combatives and law enforcement experience. Their instructors are extremely knowledgeable, patient and friendly. It is easy to learn something new, no matter your skill level. You simply cannot find more valuable training for yourself or your loved ones than these guys, you will be more than happy that you did.

Honey Badger Ops - my jiu-jitsu family: I’ve never been the competitive type—more of a peace-loving, modern-day hippie. Before joining Honey Badger Ops, I had zero experience in martial arts. My background was in weightlifting, yoga, and Pilates—disciplines rooted in flow and form rather than fighting. But three years ago, I met this incredible group, and everything changed. Under the guidance of Black Belt Dave Hollenbeck and his two black belts skilled sons, I’ve been introduced not only to jiu-jitsu, but also to legends like Mark Schultz, Pedro Sauers, and the Gracie family lineage. Despite not being a competitor, I’ve always felt seen, supported, and respected. They honor my focus on technique and self-discipline while gently pushing me beyond my comfort zone. That balance has been transformational for me—mentally, emotionally, and physically. Honey Badger Ops is a team that trains with passion, discipline, and a constant drive to improve. Their preparation for high-level competition is awe-inspiring, yet their spirit is deeply inclusive. They’ve helped me build confidence I didn’t know I had, and I’ve learned more than just grappling and self-defense. I’ve experienced a kind of healing that only comes from being part of something meaningful. Beyond the mat, we’ve shared unforgettable moments—cheering each other on at UFC events, talking strategy, and simply bonding like family. Many from the team have gone on to great success in the UFC, and yet they remain grounded and generous with their time and knowledge. Don’t let the word “competition” intimidate you—this is one of the most family-friendly, ego-free spaces you’ll find. Women, kids, and people of all experience levels are welcomed wholeheartedly. Dave goes out of his way to encourage the next generation, often creating opportunities for children to train alongside adults, building confidence and community at every level. Honey Badger Ops has become an extension of my family, and being part of this tribe is an absolute privilege.
